Visa-free Policy
Hainan province in China is a special region where tourists can enjoy a 'visa-free' policy. If you are travelling with companions for tourism purposes, they do not need to apply for a visa before arrival. Your first stop in Mainland China must be in Hainan province to be eligible for visa-free arrival. People from 59 countries on the 'visa-free' list can travel to Hainan without a visa through Hainan's open ports using their ordinary passports.
Here are the steps to follow:
Hold a valid passport from one of the 59 visa-free countries.
Travel directly to Hainan from overseas.
Fill in the entry application as required at Hainan's opening-up ports.
Enjoy a 30-day stay in Hainan after entry.

The conference organizer shall not be held liable for personal injury or any loss or damage to the participants' belongings before, during, and after the conference. Please check the validity of your insurance.

To call a Chinese number outside China, please dial the number prefix +86 or 0086. To make international calls when in China, please dial the international code 00, then the country code, the area code (if applicable) and, finally, the subscriber's telephone number.
Currency
The Chinese currency is the CNY. Cash and online payment (WeChat or Alipay) are accepted in most shops. ATMs are not widely available across Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City. We recommend bringing some cash with you if you want to pay in cash.
Electricity
In China, the power plug sockets are of type A and I. The standard voltage is 220V, and the frequency is 50Hz. Please bring your adapters.
